Chef Minoru Ogawa's Edomae tradition
A Tokyo native and second-generation sushi chef, Chef Ogawa trained under his master-chef father in Nippori and imports fish directly from Tsukiji Market. His family's craft spans more than 50 years.

The deft cocktailist leans over, as I sip my superbly savory umami martini she crafted, and recommends one of the best dishes I've had all year: The Beef Tataki (only $14!), a thinly sliced medium rare seared short rib, that you carefully top with some spicy radish, warmed scallions, and dip lightly in the ponzu to finish, and follow with arugula - was incredible.
We had the omakase for two experience. Wonderful service by waiter Best! Sushi very fresh and is the best outside of NYC. Uni in particular as well as the king salmon and otoro were the favorites. They had rare fish that we had never had at other places in the US. Will definitely be back.
Tried the Omakase. The fish quality was incredible. Service was excellent and left quite full yet satisfied. Some may find the price a little steep... ($125 per person) But if it is in your budget, it is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend.
